LG Chem Acquires DuPont’s Soluble OLED IP, Technologies

According to reports from the Korea Times, Korea Herald and OLED-info, LG Chem has acquired DuPont’s soluble OLED technologies, in a deal estimated at $175 million by these sources. DuPont has an IP of 540 materials and process patents, which are included in the deal, as well as DuPont’s related R&D and equipment facilities.   The reports added that the deal does not include any assets from DowDupont’s evaporation OLED business.
